Fall Fly Fishing - Atlantic Salmon and Beautiful Trout

I've just returned home from a fantastic two week fly fishing trip, my batteries are fully recharged, and I'm eager to get back to work. My fishing trip was awesome, I landed 8 magnificent Atlantic salmon, countless brown trout with about a dozen rainbow trout sprinkled in the mix.
During my trip, I unexpectedly flew to Indianapolis to be a pallbearer at my oldest and dearest friends' funeral, Robert Hillenbrand "Hill" Smith, who died of a sudden heart attack, at a young age. About 20 years ago Hill introduced me to fly fishing and fly tying, and I wouldn't be making insects and working as an artist now, without his friendship, and I will always miss him.
My friend Jukka flew over from Finland to enjoy a week of fine fly fishing, and my friend Alex flew in from Los Angeles, and we had a great time. I took so many photos it's hard choosing a few favorites to put on this web page. Jukka manufactures a line of high end fly fishing products, and I love my new Alfa Fishing waders and raincoat.
