Fly Fishing for Brown Trout, November 2007

This is what the trip was all about, catching and releasing beautiful brown trout

Day one, clouds part, and a rainbow welcomes us

My friend Brent, enjoying a perfect fall day, fly fishing for brown trout

Some trees were strikingly colorful, while others were bare, and ready for winter

I enjoyed fishing a fine split cane bamboo fly rod, Hardy reel and Phoenix silk fly line

Fall colors were breathtakingly beautiful

I had fun photographing these gorgeous fish

Trout willing to play were plentiful

Some smiled for the camera

Some were shy

This pretty girl knows she's hot

Poser

Yes, they have sharp teeth

Fly fishing sure is fun!!!

I love catching beautiful little trout

I also enjoy catching the one's as well

An average size fish from this years trip

Each brown trout has unique coloring, shape and spots, all of which are beautiful

Cold rainy days often offer the best conditions for good brown trout fishing

Pretty as a gem

My favorite workout exercise

Rainbow trout are icing on the cake when fishing for brown trout

What a magnificent creature

My favorite fish of the trip, a gorgeous orange brown trout with large spots

Huge female brown trout

Releasing her and hoping we meet again next year

Pair of gulls that thought they were eagles, seriously

I always feel confident fishing with my buddy the heron, he knows where the fish are...
