My Trip to New York - 2006 


 lots of New York ttaxi cabs heading into Times Square

 I went for a sightseeing ride through lower Manhattan on top of a double Decker bus, with no roof.

 

 the Empire State building is very tall

 We drove past the Empire State building, and it's very impressive and tall

 

 F.D.N.Y. Engine 24 on scene

A fire engine had to drive on the sidewalk to get past traffic 

 

filiming a movie in Manhattan

 Almost like being home in Burbank, crews were filming scenes for a movie, probably Spiderman 2

 

a small park in Manhattan

 There are lots of open areas and parks with fountains in the city

 

 

 There are many memorials as well

 

United Nations Building NY

 We drove past many buildings, large and small, this is the United Nations building

 

Front of the Department of Justice Building

 The Department of Justice Building was very impressive

 
Wall Steet New York City

 This is Wall Street, very quiet on a Sunday

 
Tall building in NY, was like being in a canyon sometimes

 There are many tall buildings in Manhattan

 Palm trees inside the NY World Financial Center building

The palm trees inside the World Financial Center reminded me of California
